The 10–15kV amorphous alloy oil-immersed distribution transformer is a new-generation energy-saving distribution unit that replaces the conventional silicon-steel core with an amorphous alloy core, using mineral transformer oil as its insulating and cooling medium to step down 10/11/13.8/15kV high voltage to 0.4kV low voltage.

Product Description

The 10–15kV amorphous alloy oil-immersed distribution transformer is a three-phase, energy-saving distribution transformer with rated high voltages of 10kV, 11kV, 13.8kV, or 15kV and a rated low voltage of 0.4kV (380V/220V), built with a core made of iron-based amorphous alloy ribbon and mineral transformer oil as the insulating and cooling medium. Working on the principle of electromagnetic induction to transform voltage levels, and backed by its exceptionally low no-load losses, it has become the first-choice solution for distribution-grid energy-efficiency upgrades under China's "dual-carbon" strategy.

This series of amorphous alloy oil-immersed distribution transformers is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with the latest national standards, spanning the SH15, SH16, and SH22 efficiency-grade series, with rated capacities from 30kVA to 2500kVA. Built with an advanced amorphous alloy core manufacturing process, complemented by a fully sealed corrugated-tank design and a high-quality insulation system, the product offers exceptionally low no-load losses, low operating noise, strong short-circuit withstand capability, and maintenance-free operation. With a normal service life exceeding 30 years and compared with conventional silicon-steel-core transformers, it saves substantial electricity costs over its entire life cycle.

The core is built from premium amorphous alloy ribbon using a three-phase, three-limb manufacturing process, achieving no-load losses approximately 70% lower than those of an SC10 transformer, with a compact footprint.

The low-voltage winding is a foil-type structure with Nomex paper providing inter-layer and end insulation, while the high-voltage winding adopts a multi-layer, sectioned structure combining Nomex paper-insulated conductors with a wrapped winding process, cured at high temperature after VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation). The core and windings are secured with self-locking anti-loosening nuts, enhancing the transformer's ability to withstand sudden short circuits and the vibration and shock of long-distance ocean transport.

The coils and core undergo vacuum drying and vacuum oil-filling processes to enhance the transformer's dielectric strength.

The tank is a corrugated tank welded from corrugated fins. The corrugations expand and contract to compensate for changes in oil volume caused by temperature variation, achieving a fully sealed transformer that isolates the interior from the atmosphere, reduces moisture ingress, and extends the transformer's service life.

This product complies with GB/T1094 Power Transformers, GB/T 6451-2023 Specification and Technical Requirements for Oil-Immersed Power Transformers, GB 20052-2024 Permissible Values of Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades for Power Transformers, GB/T 25446-2010 Specification and Technical Requirements for oilye-Immersed Amorphous Alloy-Core Distribution Transformers, and IEC 60076 Power Transformers.
