The 10–15kV oil-immersed distribution transformer is a three-phase distribution transformer with rated high voltages of 10kV, 11kV, 13.8kV, or 15kV, a rated low voltage of 0.4kV (380V/220V), operating at 50/60Hz, with mineral transformer oil serving as both the insulating and cooling medium. Working on the principle of electromagnetic induction, it converts medium-voltage grid power into low-voltage supply, making it the central power-distribution asset in urban and rural distribution networks, industrial enterprises, commercial buildings, and residential developments. Built predominantly around a fully sealed corrugated-tank design, it delivers maintenance-free operation, long service life, and low losses.
In the oil-immersed distribution transformer, the low-voltage winding employs a copper-foil cylindrical structure, while the high-voltage winding adopts a multi-layer cylindrical structure. This balances the ampere-turn distribution across the windings, minimizes leakage flux, and delivers high mechanical strength and strong short-circuit withstand capability.
The transformer core is built with a fully mitred 45° seven-step lap-joint structure and assembled by fully automated robotic stacking. The core and windings are secured with self-locking anti-loosening nuts, and the coils are clamped with laminated wood, enhancing the transformer's ability to withstand sudden short circuits and the vibration and shock of long-distance ocean transport.
The coils and core undergo vacuum drying and vacuum oil-filling processes to enhance the transformer's dielectric strength.
The tank is a corrugated tank welded from corrugated fins. The corrugations expand and contract to compensate for changes in oil volume caused by temperature variation, achieving a fully sealed transformer that isolates the interior from the atmosphere, reduces moisture ingress, and extends the transformer's service life.
This product complies with GB/T 1094 Power Transformers, GB/T 6451-2023 Specification and Technical Requirements for Oil-Immersed Power Transformers, GB 20052-2024 Permissible Values of Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades for Power Transformers, and IEC 60076 Power Transformers.
