The 10-15kV single-phase pole-mounted oil-immersed distribution transformer is a single-phase distribution unit with rated high voltages of 10kV, 11kV, and 15kV, a rated low voltage of 0.23kV, and mineral transformer oil as the insulating and cooling medium—engineered specifically for outdoor pole-top installation.

Through electromagnetic induction, it converts medium-voltage grid power into single-phase 230V low-voltage supply, delivering a reliable solution for dispersed single-phase loads. It is a core asset in rural grid upgrades, remote-area electrification, and street lighting systems.

Product Description

The 10-15kV single-phase pole-mounted oil-immersed distribution transformer is a single-phase, two-winding, off-circuit tap-changing distribution transformer with rated high voltages of 10kV, 11kV, and 15kV, a rated low voltage of 0.23kV, mineral transformer oil as the insulating and cooling medium, and an outdoor pole-top mounting arrangement. Designed for AC 50/60Hz power systems, it supplies power to dispersed single-phase loads and serves as the critical link between the medium-voltage grid and end-use single-phase customers.

Single-phase pole-mounted oil-immersed transformers are widely deployed as distribution transformers across the developed economies of the West, as well as Southeast Asia and the Americas. They can operate as single-phase units or be grouped in threes for three-phase operation. In sparsely served distribution networks, the single-phase transformer offers significant advantages as a distribution transformer: it shortens low-voltage distribution lines, reduces line losses, and improves power quality. Built around a high-efficiency, energy-saving wound-core design, the transformer is distinguished by its pole-top mounting arrangement—compact in size, low in civil-works investment, and able to shrink the low-voltage supply radius, cutting low-voltage line losses by more than 60%. Its fully sealed construction delivers strong overload capacity, high continuous-operation reliability, simple maintenance, and a long service life.

This series of single-phase pole-mounted oil-immersed distribution transformers is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with GB/T 1094 Power Transformers, GB/T 6451-2023 Specification and Technical Requirements for Oil-Immersed Power Transformers, and GB 20052-2024 Permissible Values of Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades for Power Transformers, spanning all three efficiency grades—Grade 3, Grade 2, and Grade 1—with rated capacities from 5kVA to 250kVA.

The product features a core of high-permeability, cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel, high-strength oxygen-free copper windings, and a fully sealed structure, with an optional CSP (Completely Self-Protected) integrated protection system. It offers low losses, low noise, easy installation, and reliable operation. Requiring no dedicated distribution room, it can be mounted directly on a utility pole to dramatically reduce construction costs—making it especially well suited to the power supply needs of rural areas, remote mountainous regions, and dispersed loads.

It is ideal for rural power grids, remote regions, scattered villages, agricultural production, and lighting and motive-power applications, and can also serve pole-mounted distribution lines in railway and urban-grid energy-efficiency upgrades.

This product complies with GB/T1094 Power Transformers, GB/T 6451-2023 Specification and Technical Requirements for Oil-Immersed Power Transformers, GB 20052-2024 Permissible Values of Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades for Power Transformers, JB/T 10317-2014 Specification and Technical Requirements for Single-Phase Oil-Immersed Distribution Transformers, and IEC 60076 Power Transformers.
