GCS, GCK, and MNS are all AC 50/60Hz low-voltage withdrawable switchgear rated at 660V and below, used primarily for power distribution, motor control, and protection in industrial and building electrical systems.

They offer withdrawable drawers, hot-swappable maintenance, faulty-circuit isolation, and the ability to service units without shutting down the entire cubicle.

Product Description

GCS low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is a modular-design switchgear suited to power plants, petrochemicals, metallurgy, textiles, high-rise building power supply, and similar industries—deployed in highly automated settings such as large power plants and petrochemical facilities that require a computer interface. It is a low-voltage assembly for power distribution, centralized motor control, reactor current limiting, and reactive-power compensation in three-phase AC 50/60Hz generation and supply systems with a rated operating voltage of 660V and below.

This assembly complies with GB/T 7251.1-2023 / IEC 61439-1:2020 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies and JB/T 9661-1999 Low-Voltage Withdrawable Switchgear Assemblies.

  • Which Transformer Should Be Used in a Solar Power Plant?

    2026-06-04

This article focuses on transformer selection for solar power plants. Building on a previous general comparison of oil-immersed and dry-type transformers, it examines the specific requirements of photovoltaic applications. The article outlines product solutions for different scenarios—large ground-mounted plants, commercial rooftops, and building-integrated photovoltaics—covering oil-immersed transformers, dry-type transformers, specialized box-type transformers for renewable energy, box-type substations, and high/low voltage switchgear. It then analyzes key technical factors unique to solar projects, including harmonic mitigation, voltage fluctuation and bidirectional power flow, insulation coordination, outdoor environmental endurance, and total cost of ownership over a 20-plus-year operating cycle. Drawing on Dada Electric's manufacturing experience, this guide offers project developers and engineers a practical, application-focused selection reference. Read More
